A Fun Day at the EV Open day at Lake Macquarie

Electric Vehicle Open Day

On May 15th, the Lake Macquarie City Council hosted an Electric Vehicle open day for the public, with events, stalls, and companies sharing their solutions in the world of Electric vehicles.

Our stall was directed to electric vehicle charging, with our chargers on display for all to see. We presented a variety of chargers, including the Zappi charger, fronius wattpilot, ocular solar IQ, and ocular IQ commercial.

The experience of the day was completely positive! The community reacted super positively to the event, with most people interacting with us and other stalls, wanting to know more information about EV charging solutions and most conversations leading to smart homes and what else owners can do with their home's energy.

Our representatives on the day had a blast, especially Frank, our brains-trust, loved talking to people about their energy and how they can improve their usage and save money.

Our technical officer Frank said "I was pleasantly surprised by the number of 'EV savvy' people I met. They were obviously EV and renewables enthusiasts".

The whole event was an amazing success, and it was very refreshing seeing how much the community is positively reacting with where energy consumption is heading and how owners can adjust their homes solutions.

Thank you to Lake Macquarie City Council for inviting us to represent EV Charging and smart home solutions, and we can't wait for the next EV open day event.
